Topplerite

I volunteered at Topplerite as an article writer and published multiple pieces on our website during my time there. Topplerite was a high-end fansite run by and made for fans of the videogame Battlerite. It included a wide variety of content such as game news, articles, champion builds, game guides, exclusive sneak peaks, and community compilations.

Highlights include "Inspirations From the Past: Legends of Quna" where I was tasked with researching and putting together an article that delved into inspirations behind new content that was being introduced with a Lunar New Year in-game event. There is also "Interview With Battlerite Sage" in which I got in touch with one of the largest Battlerite content creators and interviewed him on topics varying from the state of the game to his content creation process.

The Sa'yarh Universe

This project is a work-in-progress Fantasy/Sci-Fi trilogy set in the world of Sa'yarh. The first novel, The Tear of Sa'yarh, follows a cloistered young elf named Eilidh, as well as the ambitious Khabid: a level-headed councilmember of an ancient race of golems known as the Hajaari.

"The goal of this universe is to blend traditional fantasy with completely new ideas. Humans and Elves with a tense past live on the main continent. In the sea and shores to the west thrive the Onaga, a mystical and deceitful race of fish-like humanoids. To the north, the nomadic penguin-inspired Toralik make their camps. The Hajaari, a race of magically-infused golems and the oldest beings on Sa'yarh, claim the east and are occupied with trying to decipher the mysteries of their creation. In the East Sea, a large piece of land is home to Dwarves along with their history of Toralik slavery that only ended in recent years after a brutal civil war. One of the most fascinating enigmas on Sa'yarh is the story of the Elder Ones. Their time has come and gone, but expansive ruins and inscriptions leave so much to be learned about their fate; and perhaps the fate of Sa'yarh itself."
